For past readers, or those who happen to stumble across this blog, it sadly fell apart last year due to family problems mixed with loss of time. I miss blogging, though, and have decided to return, but seeing as much has changed since I last wrote, I feel it's time for something new.
That something new is Got Your Tongue, which you guys should totally visit.

Top it off with massacre.

This post is dedicated to hats because I don't wear them. I would, however, like to learn how to incorporate them into my outfits. In many cases, a hat can look silly, but if styled correctly, it can be a very complimenting accessory. What do you guys think about hats? Are you keen on wearing them?
The last half of the prior week was absolutely amazing. It's not that anything of importance happened, but I've just been so excited. Spring break starts soon, plans are being made, and things are just looking really great. Sorry that I didn't make a new post sooner; this ceremony thing at school mixed with a dance competition and such become hectic when mushed together. Happy weekend.

Anger makes the world go round.

Well, John Galliano has had some pretty crazy makeup and hair in his shows over the years, and the undeniable beauty of this facial art and hairstyles has to be recognized! I mean, fashion in terms of clothing is a love of mine, but it's hard not to appreciate this, too. Oh, you know you love the boldness. Hard to look away, ain't it?
It seems I'm just trying to get by these past few weeks. Hopefully, with spring break and my birthday coming up, I'll become excited again. My mother has bought me new leggings today (says it's part of my birthday gift), and they're quite amazing. Oh, how I want to show you guys pictures! Maybe I'll steal my friend's new Nikon for a day, not that she'll ever let that thing go, or even let me touch it. Please, Kate? My readers and I beg. And while we're on the topic of favors... that awesome, red vest you wore today? I wouldn't mind in the least to have it in my possession. Wink?

I highly doubt I undrestand you.

Today was a pretty lazy day, so I spent it wisely: let's hear it for daydreaming about clothes! American Apparel has great basics and such, like those that I especially lust after. The first is the Unisex California Fleece Cape, and it's greatness is self explanatory. I mean, come on, it's a cape! The one to the right of it is the Printed Cotton Spandex Jersey Pocket Frock, which has both a cool silhouette and pattern. Then goes practically the most amazing scarf ever. Hello, Super Sheer Circle Scarf! I fell in love with the original circle scarf a little while ago, but this one is just too amazing. Bottom left? Those are the Cotton Spandex Jersey Slit Leggings, and though I know I can achieve the effect myself, it never comes out as perfect as American Apparel gets it. The last is the Mélange Jersey Pocket Skirt, and I'm not sure why, but a green skirt would be pretty cool.
As you can see, the day was productive. No, no it wasn't, and I kind of wish it was. Weekends pass too quickly, and as soon as Monday starts I'm hoping for the weekend to come back around. It does so, and I waste it. Although, I guess they're supposed to be spent lounging around... I'll wrap up this pointless rant. Oh, and I think I had a minor epiphany yesterday. I compared a girl's bag to an Alexander Wang, and I received a blank stare, as well as a scoff when I told her he was a designer. It has just occurred to me that people aren't really directly aware of the fashion world, which both alienates me in a way, and makes me feel the tiniest bit special. But then both feelings pass and I continue to fantasize about clothing...

I envy you, though you're just as bad off as I.

Whitley Kros was created by Marissa Ribisi and Sophia Coloma, and it started up in 2007. Since then, they've come out with great items and have graced LA Fashion Week. Many of the pieces in the Spring collection are really, really great, and you should definitely check out the Whitley Kros website, http://whitleykros.com/!
Today, my mother finally uttered the spectacular words: "Maybe I'll buy you a new camera." Yes, maybe was present, but this gives me so much hope! She also got me some great things from Zara; thanks, mom! I've got some crazy good post ideas coming up, so you guys just wait. Oh, and I've got ideas for my magazine article for the creative writing class. Yes, I'm still super excited about the course. Yay for fashion journalism! ... and NYLON, of course.

And I can only imagine what your twisted mind is thinking.

More 'in depth' posts should follow soon, I've just got so much on my plate right now. Oh, and the magazine journalism unit in my creative writing class is off to an amazing start, except some of my peers are a little freaked out at my being so clingy and obsessive over NYLON... Oh, I can't help it. ;)

Bastards do as bastards like.

My uncle is skeptical about the chances of my beloved camera coming back to life. To take these pictures, I had to steal my cousin's 'sacred, don't touch' camera while she was in the bathroom. I've been experimenting pretty much all week with this awesome gunk, and piling on eyeliner and shades upon shades is so, so fun !

Today I found out that my creative writing class is starting a unit on magazine journalism. Becoming a magazine journalist being my dream... this is very exciting. We're allowed to study any type of magazine we'd like, and pretty much any magazine (hello, NYLON !), save for Playboy, of course. If we come up with a good, short piece, we can send it in to our magazine of choice and hope and pray and... sacrifice anything to get it published ! You guys have got no clue what getting my work in NYLON would mean to me.

By the way, how awesome is their hair ?
